Mike is a pendant control station for production equipment. This auxiliary controller acts on the motor through a power interface, such as a contactor or PLC. This control station is designed for use under severe operating conditions.
Design
Mike has an innovative design, where each graphic element is linked to a specific technical function. Its dimensions and shape are the result of careful analysis of the product ergonomic aspects, aimed at achieving a graphic style complying with modern industrial environments, thus making Mike extremely handy and user friendly. Its compact dimensions and antislip enclosure make it easy to handle under any working conditions.
Features
Mike innovative hanging system, with cables hidden inside the enclosure, enables quick, correct and ergonomic installation and makes it possible to prevent the danger of personal injury during routine use. Mike control station has been designed to facilitate wiring and maintenance operations: Switches and cable entry are placed inside the controller enclosure and are separated from the actuators installed on the enclosure. These features drastically reduce installation time and costs, as well as maintenance down time. The emergency stop button complies with EN 418 standard and is equipped with positive opening NC switches.
Options
Mike is available in configurations with 4 to 15 contactors, with 1NO or 1NC switches and LEDs (24/48 V AC/DC or 110/230 V AC). The range includes contactors in various colours: One- or two-speed buttons, selector switches and key-operated switches in various configurations, pilot lights, pulsed or latched buttons with rotation or key-operated release. One-speed buttons and switches are available with illumination and in a wide range of colours. Mike comes with a standard set of labels (symbols and letters) to be applied to the upper part of the enclosure near the contactors, according to the Customer’s needs. Mike control station can be fitted with buttons bearing two-colour permanent symbols, upon the Customer’s request. Special protection is available for the contactors installed on the bottom cover of the pendant control station enclosure.
Materials
The rubber buttons (22.5 mm) ensure protection against dust to prevent them from being stuck, when the control station is used under severe conditions. All materials and components are weather resistant and guarantee protection of the control station against water and dust.
